The Rizhiner used to say – that the wintertime Torah readings are wrapped in various garbs – they wear furs (pelts). (This is an intimation of the fact that these readings relate many incomprehensible events – mysteries).

Recently there have been changes in research and more complex methods and approaches have been introduced that find characteristics unique to late Hasidim.
